How can the National Mass Violence Center help?

National Mass Violence Center

Located within the National Crime Victim Research and Treatment Center (NCVRTC) at the Medical University of South Carolina, a renowned research, training, and behavioral/mental health service provider, the NMVC is the best source for evidence-based practices to understand mass violence and its impact, upon which civic leaders, behavioral and mental health professionals, criminal justice and victim service professionals, journalists, emergency managers, and policy makers can rely. Using research to illuminate the challenges and needs of MVI victims and survivors, the NMVC evaluates what works through planning, training, technical assistance, and technology resources.
