Healthcare Systems experience a large, multifaceted and challenging impact from incidents of mass violence or domestic terrorism. Existing response plans that are internal to the healthcare system will activate personnel and procedures to care for the medical and initial emotional care needs of patients and families. Linking to the larger mass violence or domestic terrorism response will facilitate patients/victims and families to access the full range of available services to meet their often enormous needs, and allow the hospital to return to everyday functioning as quickly as possible. This webinar will assist you in that effort.
