After an incident of violence, people often want to help wherever they can. However, poor donation management can result in unnecessary chaos, donor discontent, and lack of proper support for victims and their families. This two-part series discusses key issues, best practices, and important considerations – both legal and otherwise – as you create a plan to manage various donations. Presenters focus on financial donation management in Part 1 of the series. Part 2 addresses managing goods and services.
